Supposedly some of the problems have been worked out. That's the risk with new designs - the customer ends up performing the final quality control inspection.
I have owned a PM40 for about three years. Had to have Kahr send me a new rod and springs because it was having FTF, failure to return to battery, and and a few FTE. I believe the FTE were because of limp wristing. I was still getting the failing to feed even after the new parts. It just happened that my magazine broke so I bought a new one. Sure enough that fixed the FTF. Only cost 45 dollars!
But to this day it still sometimes has problems returning to battery. I can't trust it enough to carry it.
I am now looking to trade it in for a G16 if anyone is interested in a lemon.
I have the CW9 and have carried it for three months now. It has become my daily carry and usually in an inexpensive Uncle Mike soft inside the pants holster with a T shirt covering it.
It has proven accurate and very dependable at the range as well as light. I carry one extra mag in my off hand pocket. Great gun.
