Does anyone have any info on the Woodworth Range?

Haven't heard anything but wish it would reopen. I go up to Forest Hill occasionally for work and it was nice to be able to stop and shoot for a little bit.

All the info I have: A guy I work with called up one of the guys he knows that works for LDWF and they told him the remodel was not even 60% yet; so best guess would be no earlier than late summer/fall. Makes sense as many Fudds crack off a few rounds for deer season around that time.

I used to see Ron (the range officer) at work every once in a while but it's been a long time now. I lost his phone number so I can't call.

At least the range is on it's way back to being opened. Any idea what they're building? I didn't use it much but there are only so many public ranges to shoot at. Unfortunately nationwide it seems like they're closing faster than they're opening.
