Dove hunt in Southeast Louisiana for Fall 2016

Looking for pay hunt in the S/E area of Slidell this fall.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Really got the itch to dove hunt again.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has several organized dove hunts on public lands each year, and they do some on leased private lands too.

As we get nearer to September, start looking in the newspaper, Louisiana Sportsman, etc. They are generally advertised, particularly pay hunts.

1 year later, and still looking.
Can't believe no one hunts dove in S/E Louisiana.
Guessing all done on private land for friends.

You will likely have to expand your area of interest to a larger portion of the state to find a paid dove hunt place.
Silvercreek Campground has a dove hunt on Labor Day weekend. $150/gun
I see another advertised in Alexandria area in the Louisiana Sportsman and another in Texas. Of course for the ultimate--Argentina!!!
If we get some bad weather during or before the Labor Day opener, dove hunting around here is fubar anyways.
