Actually he has a M&P Pro and the L is for longslide.

The pro comes from the factory with better sights and better trigger sear.

Its a Pro upper with standard trigger group. The pro trigger is lighter 4.5 to 5.5 lb vs 6.5 lb standard trigger and in a gun with no safety not a good idea to carry loaded. The Pro trigger group is also available if buyer so desires.
