Just wondering...How many of you guys/gals do any dynamic "3 gun" or "2 gun" (rifle/pistol) type of "moving and shooting" as opposed to static shooting? With 3 gun competition now being held in St. Francisville myself and a few friends starting "practicing" (hoping to actually compete, for FUN) and I really can't explain how much MORE fun it is and how boring static shooting has gotten! So, just curious who else has been doing the same!?

I'm slowly trying to learn now but my friends don't have the free time like they used to. I would love to gather a few folks and go play..

You don't need to practice for a match, if you can safely move around with a loaded firearm, come on out and play! If you don't have all the cool gear, still come and play, I'd bet all of the competitors will loan you special gear, I know I have.

Anyone headed out to St.Francisville this Saturday? A couple buddies and myself are going to watch, help if we can and maybe participate in the next go around.

I'm really wanting to make it to a match but could not commit to this weekend at the time of sign up.
I was going to go up to watch/help but now we have a few guys planning to "practice" if weather allows.
I'd rather go shoot than watch.

I try to spread out enough paper and reactive targets to have a go at it, two guns at a time is pretty doable but the more people come shoot things get more complicated and time consuming but I'm constantly refining my setups as we go.
I really enjoy it when it all comes together.

We try to do a lot of reload drills with both pistol and rifle.
Maybe even stuffing an extra couple rounds in the Benelli M4.
We have added in transitions from rifle/shotgun to pistol.
We are adding some backstops on the range to allow more lateral movements.
Shooting and moving is tons more fun.

Loading the shotgun IS everything!! I'd spend way more time practicing that

Damn, I can't believe I just said that!
