No big deal on either. Both are on older, deepseated fault planes. These older faults periodically have movement along them (better lots of smaller ones over time than one big one.)
BTW, the Mississippi River runs in an ancient, failed rift valley. That's why the Mississippi is so persistent over geological time. We get small earthquakes anywhere within the Mississippi valley all the time...
