    They are very nice semi-custom handguns. I've never shot one, but I've fondled all of the ones at Jim's Firearms...they are what you'd expect for spending that kind of money - tight slides, good fit and finish. I've rarely read of problems with them. I'd rank them right up there with Les Baer, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, etc.

I've rarely read of problems with them. I'd rank them right up there with Les Baer, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, etc.

    I'd consider the Brown pistols a step or two ahead of Les Baer, Wilson Combat, and Nighthawk. Ed makes the parts that most of the custom builders use.
