I am not an Obama fan by any stretch of the imagination. But this close to the election the political machine is gonna ramp up and all kind of stuff is gonna come out. Research it. I'm a conservative and don't like being mislead by either side. Snopes was no help on this one. :)

Our conservative Democratic representatives here in Louisiana ...
    Who? Landrieu? Nagin? Jefferson? NOPE!

Whether outwardly appearing far left wacko or not, 99.9999% of the Dems vote in lockstep with the wackos 99.9999% of the time.
IMO, to hell with ANY politician bearing a D by their name.

    Same for all (R)inos too.

Obama's gonna win nonetheless. The political media machine is too strong.

While it's still too early to ease up AT ALL, I think that Barack Hussein ObamaSama's house of cards has begun to fall. Even with the nauseating support of the MSM, people have, much to my amazement, begun to see that the guy is an empty suit. So empty that even the 24/7 promotion by the media cannot overcome it, and even the Dems are panicking.

There has been a double-digit turnaround in national polls, even those which are notoriously left-biased. McCain is leading by around 25% in the South, which is looking rock-solid for him.

ObamaSama's pick of Biden added NOTHING to the ticket except an "old white guy" who's a proven plagiarist, has a bad temper, an ego as big as ObamaSama's, and is prone to HUGE gaffes. His own comments about BHO were immediately turned into a wonderful commercial by McCain's PR folks, who are doing a masterful job, and are not pulling any punches, finally.

I believe a monumental shift in Hussein's perception by all but the most devout leftists has occurred, as the reality of having this idiot in charge is setting in.

Be that as it may, I wouldn't put it past McCain to pull something utterly, unbelieveably, f*cking stupid and name a "moderate" as his VP. If he does, BHO wins, period.

Contrary to being "my boy" as has been said elsewhere on BSC, McCain is a douchebag. (As has also been said on BSC.) He was pretty much last on my list, and while he does have some good points, he's wrong on big ones like immigration and Gorebull warming, and kisses DemocRAT ass so often in the spirit of "bipartisanship" that his nose is permanently brown. It makes me sick that he ended up as the R nominee, but we're stuck with him.

Yet, to show the depth of my loathing of the socialist ObamaSama, and knowing the incredible damage BHO would do to our rights, the country, and the world, McCain is an INFINITELY better choice for me, in spite of my feelings about him. I wish the BHO alternative was better, but I have to face reality. Barack Hussein ObamaSama and his minions CANNOT be allowed to take control of this country.

Thankfully, barring a total pooch-screw by McCain in choosing a VP, I think the tide has begun to turn, and this viewpoint will win the day, and win big.

Then hopefully McCain takes office with a rock-solid conservative as VP, and resigns the day after his inauguration, citing "health reasons". :D

    Greg,
I could not have said it better. I was pulling for Duncan Hunter or Tom Tancredo. Unfortunately the people let the media pick their leaders for them and those of us who have a cognitive thought process are stuck with the pickings of the mindless masses. I, like you will hold my nose and vote for McCain only because a non-McCain vote is a vote for Obama and company.
It pains me to have pro McCain crap in my signature but it means that much to me that he and not Obama wins this whore race. That's all this is at this point, Who gets to go home with the least ugliest whore.

I was thinking Cazayoux and Breaux pro gun pro drilling etc. As a rule most Louisiana Dems are more conservative than most in the party. When you speak of New Orleans Dems those bafoons fall off the chart left.

He was 2nd last on my list. I was scared Juliani was gonna get the nomination when it all started. Still kinda pissed at Jindal for backing that turncoat ************.

Don't believe me? Just go ask anyone on the street or in college who you gonna vote for? Reply-robot voice on-I'm gonna vote for Obama! He's for change. He's gonna change this country because we need change. Bush is bad, he's ruining the country."-robot voice off.

As a matter of fact ask some family member-inlaws, cousins, aunts, uncles-robot voice on..."I'm gonna vote for...

You, and many others, underestimate the strength of the working class white male. Some article I read was saying that the presidential race will not be as close the media predicts because of the white male vote. After all... we are the majority in this country and we don't get on school busses with the rest of out neighborhood to go out and vote. You don't see the media interviewing farmers, skilled laborers, armed forces personnel, and small business owners. Instead we are bombarded with these O'bama rallies in inner city high school gyms and parks where the underprivileged flourish in mass quantities. It is not surprising that most people think O'bama will pull in greater numbers than he actually will. After all... if you listen to the media EVERYONE wants drastic change because the grass is definitely greener over there right?
