FAL barrel cutting and threading

Anyone in the southeast region can cut and thread a barrel on a FAL?

KP said no, and they have had my buddies rem 700 for 5 months now for the same thing. They said they do them in "batches". I hear good things but 5+ months for a cut and thread is a bit excessive. Any place else? Not looking to ship it off if I can help it.

he did a great job on my fal... not sure if hes still doint it... he has done 4-5 for me and usually only takes a day

jake welch is qualified if he wants to do it.. I also have a Fal I had cut down, I had to cut it to 1/2 x28 as there was not enough for 5/8 I have not had any trouble.

If you don't mind shipping it, Morgan at Class III Machining does excellent work and typically has a relatively fast turn around when I used him in the past.
