Hiya folks. So, I was just curious: What's everyone's favorite AR-15 model? Doesn't have to be one you own, it can just be one you saw in a movie and like more than any other. I'll go first:

Honestly it's a toss-up between the M16A1 and A2. But if I was forced to choose I'd have to say the A2, since I own one and have trigger time behind it.

Everybody loves their first, and the rest of my collection were all built to specific jobs.

I've got a Daniel Defense Mk18 that's been absolutely rock solid for 7 or so years I've had it, and it was previously used when I received it. Unknown round count, I'm thinking 15K at least? years riding in a box in a truck and all elements, still shot a cloverleaf at 50yds with an Eotech last time I checked zero.

Can't deny the .308 is an absolute *chonker*.

Not sure if I wanna get an AR-10 or an M14 for my first .308, tho.

AR10 is more adjustable and cost-effective nowadays; however, the M21 or M14s are a classic.

Besides the ones I built I would say POF and Geissele AR's are my go to.
