FEBRUARY MID-RANGE F-CLASS/PRONE MATCH

37 shooters came out to shoot on a perfect early spring-like day. Temperatures started in the 40’s and ended the match at around 60.
Winds made the 3rd string interesting with quick switches.
In F-Open, Donald Conner held off all challengers to post a 585-21X. It’s been a while since Donald was able to shoot with us and we were glad to see him.
Wes Cummings was 1st High Master with a 581-25X and Howard Mahute took 1st Master/Master Unclassified with a 584-14X.
In FTR, Jim Suber took the gold medal with a 589-26X. Shawn Broussard was 1st in the High Master/Master/Master Unclassified group with a nice 589-16X. Mickey Brinkman took 2nd posting a 586-25X.
In the Expert/Sharpshooter/Marksman group, Dwight Hebert took 1st with a 582-19X.
The Prone group once again had a nice turnout for the match.
Gary Henry too the overall win with a 593-32X. Bill Jenkins was 1st High Master with a 592-24X.
The combined Master/Master Unclassified/Expert group saw David Bay take 1st with a 578-21X and Sam Entrican took 2nd with a 572-22X.
Karl Schroeder was 1st in the Marksman class with a 548-8X.
There were 5 people shooting Service Rifles. John Laws took 1st with a 560-17X.

Next month will be the Regional, so our next Approved match will be in April.
