Feg Hi Power Clone Help

Hello all,

I recently bought an Feg hi power clone and have a question for anyone who may know more then me as this is my first hi-power type handgun. It was packaged in some cosmoline so i took it down to clean it up but when I went to re assemble, the recoil spring will not fit properly. No matter what I try it bulges and will not allow for the take down pin to be interested. I am at a total loss on this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've had to wrestle mine a few times. I find them a little harder sometimes than some others. Make sure you're putting the spring guide in the right way.

Turn the rod around.

Make sure the round side faces the barrel.
