Finally got my Colt baby!

Shoots like a frickin' dream! Wish I'd bought one a long time ago. Just thought I'd share the joy!

sweet gun man, waiting on some different colt grips for mine, has some finish wear, i was very intent on getting it refinished, but now i kinda like the wear....and that cash can go to another colt.


shootsl ike a dream is an understatement, i thought my 92fs was smooth, then i got this.

Nah madwabbit, This has always been my "I'm gonna have one" gun. I've passed on the chance a couple times and then when I've had the money, I couldn't find one on hand anywhere. It finally came together. Picked it up at Hutchingson's Guns in Ball, LA. He also had one in Blue, it was a Gold Cup National Match. I'd love to go back and get it too.

my new grips for my gold cup just came in

the gun only has 1.1k rounds through it, but was used in classes so picked up the wear you see, i was going to get it refinished by colt, but now its kinda grown on me. itsa takc driver for sure.

Glockfan, that is one sweet looking gun! Springfield?

After spending several hours smoothing off the safety and grip safety, plus removing all the Series 80 safety stuff, can't resist posting a pic.

I changed the grips for some more aggressive wood grips, with the thumb groove for the mag release.
