Had a 45/70 lever (hence my name) after getting my shoulder redone was to punishing to shoot, opted for a 500 S$W pistol!
Would love a full auto Tommy gun.

Phased plasma rifle, 40 watt range. (I had to, lol)

Seriously, a Beretta 93R made up to look like the "Auto 9."

According to Bill Wilson and Ken Hackathorn (Wilson Combat) in one of their videos, the Disney World Police Department has some 93R models made to accept a shoulder stock. I think that makes them a double tax stamp item.

What I wanted but didn't need...and ended up hating it, is a Kahr Arms deluxe Thompson with stick mag, 50 round drum, and violin case. Most useless purchase I ever made. Super heavy and miserable to shoot and the rear sight was terrible when trying to use the ladder sight. It canted to the side as you elevated it and is NOT windage adjustable making it a pain in the butt. Replaced it with a real Lyman which is somewhat better but very loose parts so not as accurate as the gun's potential.

Now that I went down a rabbit hole, and I apologize, what I want and don't need....

TPS Arms takedown rifle in .357 over .410. (I have it in .22 hornet over .410 already)

Ruger New Model single six convertible in stainless 22/lr--22wmr (I already have an older 3 screw in blued finish)

Dessert Eagle in 50AE. or conversion kit ( I have the 44 mag version and have not fired yet lol)

A bolt action safari rifle in 416 Rigby just because I have a cartridge in that caliber and it absolutely fascinates me every time I look at that massive round.

Uberti Courteney stalking rifle in.303 British (because it's beautiful)

There's plenty more, but I've just listed the really really useless purchases that seem to grab me.

    B/C,

Thats a sweet collection of lever guns. Mine is more of a stock, but special bicentennial edition that my Uncle bought. I shot when it I was 14 and fell in love with it, vowed to myself I would own one which I did buy one only to have to sell it years later. Then my Uncle passed and my Dad got the rifle, in 2001 my Dad passed and I inherited it. So it will probably stay stock but I'm thinking about putting some optics on it.

    hnnnnnnnnng

A lever action of any sort has moved from the want list to the need list for me. Do you have a favorite? any you can recommend for a fun/budget shooter?
hmmm budget would have to be a marlin 1894 in .357/38 or .44mag/44sp for the cost,, 45/70 would cost alot more in ammo but i reload so 45/70 is only like .20 cpr

Cheesy Lasagna, how long is that barrel? Is it 16” so you can put a stock on it without making it a SBR?

Everything outside of my handgun, shotgun, my bolt action rifle, rifle in 22lr and ar15. Everything else after that is warm and fuzzy feelings.
