Fixed blade knife laws?

I am getting ready to move back to LA and I have a few questions about the fixed blade knife laws. I am looking at carrying a RAT cutlery Izula as a new EDC and I am wanting to find out if that would be ok because it is a fixed blade knife. Any advice will help.

If you search the legal forum you will find this discussed at length.

You can carry whatever you want openly, by the letter of the law.

You can carry whatever you want in any way you want if it is not for the probably use as a weapon (that is the way the law is worded- it is meant to be left up to officer/DA/jury discretion).

If you are carrying a weapon that is not a handgun concealed, you are taking a legal risk.
