Found some Black Hills Green Tip .223, What is this round?

They are 62gr “green tip” M855, steel core , jacketed bullets designed for the military

my boss was asking me about it. I think it was like 350 for 1000 rds. is that a good deal?

My boss said he wants to get about 5000 rds. So I might be able to weasle my way into a case but I only want about 1/2 case.

price was wrong. 500 for 1000 rds in resealable ammo cans, some of it on stripper clips. I am gonna get some next week. He works with the guy at WBR Sheriff Dept. If any of yall wanna split a case let me know. I dont really have 500(up to my ears in baby diapers and formula) but I can swing a 1/2 case.

BH is good ammo, but unless the price is shipped. I would pass.. and get some for similiar price at a fun show and not pay shipping

It was $319 per 1000 rounds for PMC at Palmetto State Armory.......
