I'm going to make this short and sweet. Everytime I purchase a firearm long or short and they run the background check. I get delayed for further review. Can anyone shed some light? If there is any lol

One of my oder brother's has an arrest for shining, shooting rabbits at night, and discharging a firearm in the city limits (N.O.), from 1978. To this day, that arrest comes up on every background check and he too is held up pending further review.

I have told him how to get that taken care of, but he doesn't care. Could you have a similar type of youthful indiscretion; or possibly some other incident that flags your name?

That is normally the case. Saw it a lot at Bowie's

you can get a PIN # from the ATF that should fix the issue, from what i hear.
