I have a big 18000 window unit that stopped getting power to the front display, which means it doesn't work anymore. I was just wondering where in denham that I could throw it out at, or if the regular pickup will take something like that. I've never had rental garbage cans till I got down here and I don't know rules on stuff like that.

Most of the time if you put it out at the end of your driveway it will be gone by morning.

And if that doesn't work where you are, the closer you get to the Amite River, the better your luck will be. Just drop it off in front of someone else's house near the river. They'll think it was Christmas come early.

I had an old working chest freezer that I no longer needed so I taped a piece of poster board to it that said "Working Freezer, FREE" and set it near the end of my driveway where it sat for 3 days. I flipped the poster board over and wrote "Working Freezer $75.00" ..... it was gone the next morning. They would rather steal it than have it given to them. I hope they saw the other side of that sign when they got home with it!

I put my old refrigerator by the road about a month ago. It stayed there about 2 hours before a guy stopped and about killed himself loading it in his truck.

I had a guy come pick up some (s)crap from my house when we moved, he showed back up a couple hours later with cash, he wanted to pay me part of what he got for it.

Man don't stop cutting your grass if close to the street, you walk out with your water the mower will be gone..

I washed my push mower off one time and left it towards the end of the driveway, that even went to go put it up and it was gone. Then about two weeks later they came back and picked up the weedeater under the carport...basturds....

You live in Greg Bunch's area. Drop it off in front of his house with a red bow on top . The card should read: "For our buddy signed Bayou Shooters." :D

I have a leather recliner I need to get rid of.. I will have to try just puttin git out at the end of the driveway.

As long as it's in decent shape , somebody will pick it up . In the last year , I have disposed of one lawnmower , two edgers , and a small picnic table that way . None of them sat out there for more than two days .

I know the woman that delivers the newspapers in Watson. When she gets home on trash day her van is full. And if you talk to her everything was like brand new. :D
