How much recoil does the barrel porting decrease in these models?
I am thinking of getting a new glock for CC and i cant seem to locate a glock 19 and was wondering if the recoil of the 23c was close to the same and have found a couple of them around.
Thanks in advance for any input.

I have a 23C RTF2. Recoil reduction is negligible. Not a good CC idea. The flash is horrible in low light. The RTF feels great in the hand, but I do most definitely want to get an aftermarket non ported barrel for it. My 19 gets much more attention than this.

Heres a stock pic of the flash pattern on a 19C. I'd imagine the 23C maybe worse if photographed.

Keep your eyes peeled, they are out there. To me the 23c would be a long term bad decision to solve a short term problem.

The C models do not blind you but you will get hot gas and debris in your face when shooting from extreme retention.

What about close to cover, any of that come back at you if shooting under something or through a hole?

I have only experienced the hot gases when shooting a target close enough that your pistol would be positioned very close to your body and the pistol would almost touch the target. Belly to belly.
I do not think you would have issues with your examples unless your face was very close to the pistol for some reason.

Gotcha, you're talking about shooting basically from your pectorial/man boob right?
