Glock fit question

I currently have a G19 that I use for cc, HD, training of course, and USPSA as well as 3-gun. I am saving my pennies now to get a G34 for the competition stuff and am wondering if I buy a Safariland 6320 for the G34 if the G19 would fit. Since the Safariland locks onto the barrel hood, I would think that it would and just have a good bit of room under the barrel and slide.

Repetitive draws will eventually wear a grove on the plastic locking mechanism from your front sight. Just FYI. No big deal since they will send you a new one for free.

Does it still function as intended with the grove? If so, that's not all that bad and can still be used while waiting on a replacement.

Yes but you will get to a point where the front sight is hitting the brass helicoil inside the plastic.
