Is a glock 17 lower the sameas a glock 34? Will a 34 slide fit on a 17 and will a 17 slide fit on a 34? I think so just checking

The G34 slide will fit on a G17 frame and vice versa.

I my sell my glock 17 if I like the 34 but I want to keep my lower because I burnt it my self

Only problem in doing that is your frame will have a different serial number from the slide and barrel. It may affect your ability to sell the gun.

It shoudnt. If a buyer has an issue with it move on an find one that's better informed.

Only differences I am aware of is the disconnectors, mag release and slide release. Both releases are extended and the disconnector is a 3.5lb on the 34/35. Unless you have a 2nd gen both frames should be 3 pin as well. Not that the extra pin really matters on 9mm.

The standard setup uses a 5.5 lb connector.

To answer your main question, yes you can without ANY issues. I'm running a 2nd gen G17 lower on my G34 for USPSA. The finger grooves on the newer frame are causing me some issues, but I can't grind them off or it puts me in a whole different division.
