Missus and I are going to spend the day in New Orleans tomorrow. We are adventurous eaters and want to eat at some ethnic restaurant. Not looking for Cajun food, but an African restaurant, Nepalese food, authentic Asian, a great Indian joint, something like that.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Also, Attiki Bar & Grill located at 230 Decator. It's a hookah bar with good Mediterranean food as well. And they stay open till like 4am every day.

Chef Susan Spicer' restaurant Mondo on Harrison Ave. in New Orleans. Food is great. The menu is influenced by many different ethnicity's. Also Willie Mae's Scotch House.

The best Chinese in town is Royal China on Veterans Hwy, just in Jeffersn Parish near Dorignac's.

But, ask for the "dim sum" menu, not the regular one. Ask "Miss Shirley" for suggesions.

This is the late Sherif Harry Lee's favorite and Harry grew up in the Chinese restaurant businsss !

+1 for China Doll, however, there's a hole in the wall place in Laplace that we like MUCH better. Best Wok on Belle Terre Blvd across from the Ford dealer. Not fancy but the food is great and the service is excellent. If you go there more than once the owner will remember your name... and probably how you want your food and what you ordered last time.

The Green Leaf? Their green curry is to die for.
