I purchased this gun a couple of weeks ago with 1 purpose in mind, which was
to own/have owned 1 of every model Kahr makes/made.
With the exception of the P380, which I honestly have no interest in, I have now succeeded.
This is the ALL STAINLESS STEEL MK 9 9mm
Comes with
1 x 6 round magazine
1 x 7 round magazine
Trijicon Night Sights
Wrap around plastic grip
Factory Hogue Pao Ferro Wood Grips
Original Case
New Galco STO N GO IWB holster in Black
Price is $500 FTF in Baton Rouge Area ONLY.
Trades welcome.
First I will be completely up front and say that it has an "issue".
There is a tiny hairline crack on the front of the slide in the casting between the recoil spring opening and the barrel opening.
I knew this when I purchased it and had no reservations about it being a problem. It has not been a problem.
When I took the pictures for this ad, I tried to get a shot of the crack, but it is so small that it does not show up.
I ran 200 rounds of various JHP and FMJ rounds through it and had not one single issue.
However, I did speak to Kahr customer service and they advised me that they WILL REPLACE THE SLIDE under warranty, FREE OF CHARGE.
Apparently, although the cracking is not the norm, it has happened in the past.
In my research, most of those who sent their slide in for replacement received an entire new top end, including barrel and sights.
If you're waiting for a price drop, DON'T. If it does not sell for $500, I will send it to Kahr and have the slide replaced, and keep it.
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!
