Thinking about getting a rail mount for my Gopro so I can take some video from the rifles POV. Might be cool for hog hunts or drills at the range. Anyone have real world experience with these things, or have a particular favorite? I'm thinking about something like this.

Just use a helmet or headband mount. It's more interesting because you see more of the gun. Plus, you can use it for pistol, bow, rifles, etc. And not have to add a bunch of crap hanging off your rifle. Plus, you can track with your head and not just the barrel.

Yea, I have a head strap mount. I was using it for videoing pistol drills the other day and it gave me the idea to strap it to the rifle. I've got more than one Gopro so I could could strap cameras all over the place and go full tilt mall ninja on video.

I've got a few of these.

    http://www.botach.com/products/kz-camera-picatinny-rail-mount.html

Solid metal, sturdy construction and works well. Have used on Handgun 9mm and AR 5.56, no wobble, stays in place.

Great for capturing someone's first time shooting and their facial expressions. I'm sure it also has training applications as well.

(I know it's Botach, but I have spent thousands with them and have NEVER had an issue.)
