    Louisiana and Texas should keep OUR oil ,screw California.and Florida. They don't want offshore drilling let'm deal the Arabs.

    This country is not unified anymore anyway.

    I don't get the "federal waters" deal. The only land and water the federal gov't should own is DC. Protect our surrounding waters? Yes. Control activity within? No.

    fun fact the most oil the US has ever produce was in 1970 at 10-11 million bbl/d current productions is 5.32 million bbl/d 2009, but we use 20 million bbl/d.
