Do you only use one pistol

To respond to the poll intelligently you would have to know for what you would be using the pistol.

Target shooting - .22 LR
Selfdefence/concealed carry - 9 mm
General outdoors/hunting - .357 Mag.
Backup when Muzzleloader hunting - .44

Duty Carry- 45acp
Duty Carry BUG- 40
Truck Gun- 45acp
Off duty/concealed carry- 380/40/45acp (depends on where, when, why)
Store Gun-45acp

I own twice as many 45s as other calibers.

I prefer 45acp, however situation dictates and compromises sometimes have to be made. IE- carry a Glock 30 on your ankle for 12 hours, better yet wear a brick in your sock.

I agree 9mm is great for target shooting, but ,IMO, it sucks for defence.

I voted for .45 Auto, which I prefer to carry. I also have a few 9mm's that I like a lot. I had one .40, and it had to go.

I have had handguns in almost every caliber, but have narrowed it down to;

45 Auto
9mm
38/357
.22LR

Makes stocking ammo a little easier, and covers all my needs.

.45 all the way! While 9mm might expand, .45 ain't gonna shrink! (Because, you know, that 2.23 milimeters makes such a huge difference... )
