I am thinking about buying a Jericho 941 and having it refinished. Does anyone locally offer hard chrome plating of handguns? What rates should I expect to get this done?

Not aware of any local vendors doing hard chrome and I've looked pretty hard for them too.

Try Accurate Plating and Weaponry or Tripp Consulting as folks who do FIRST CLASS work from what I have seen.

Lots of luck and if you find a local source, by all means, share back with the group.

Decorative chrome isn't good for a firearm that will be used. Three different layers of different materials will throw the tolerances out of whack.

I'd look up Ionbond (Greensboro, NC) for their Tungsten Diamond Like Carbon ( W DLC). For what it looks like just look at any stainless steel slided Sig pistol.
