    Does this mean a CHP now covers any weapon such as rifles, shotguns, SBRs, automatic knives, etc? If so, this is great news. I didn't hear about this one.

    It kind of went unnoticed and I'm surprised JBE even signed it. I'm not an attorney, but speaking with one today, this effectively turns the Concealed Handgun Permit into a Concealed Weapons Permit.

    Does this mean that one can use the permit to carry a knife into places that do not allow firearms?
    No, I am not talking about places like Federal buildings, courts, etc.
