Help! I need to dislodge this shell.

That's what I get for shooting cheap 12 gauge ammo I guess.

I tried a ramrod from the muzzle and didn't move it.
I plan to hit a little oil around the "brass" and try again.

Please tell me my barrel isn't effed!

Nope, I'm the moron. That was a 16 gauge mixed in with all 12's that I got from my dad. Got it removed.

Man, if that went far enough down to allow the next shell to load, it could have been real bad. Glad you caught that at that stage.

Thank god it didn't. My nephew was shooting it at the time and that would've/could've been real bad. Especially since I was standing at about 4 o'clock and one meter.

looked like it went way too far was thinking it was twenty guage. lots of people have had bad accidents the same way.

I made the same mistake by putting a 16ga shell in my 12 pump once, it would load into the chamber but would not fire. Confused the hell out of me for a minute until I realized I had mixed a 16ga shell in with a handful of 12s on a shelf.
