Hello all, I am in need of some advice with reloading some bullets and powder I picked up for my ruger 9mm P89. I have some 124gr LRN bayou bullets and IMR SR 7625 powder. I've searched thru my Speer #10 and #14, hornady 8th, and a complete reloading manual for the 9mm Luger by load book. I cannot find any load data for this combo of bullet and powder, I've even gone to several on-line resources with no luck. The info I did see in my books is a little confusing, as far as bullet seat depth, some put he case above the top ridge on the bullet and others in the center groove. I did make a dummy round and seated the bullet to 1.125" which is at the top of the ridge on the bullet. I cycled the round thru my pistol several times, cycles perfectly with no flaws. I am vaguely thinking of starting at 3.7-4.0 gr of powder and trying like 5 rounds to see how they preform. I do not have a chrono so judging velocity is out. The only way I can check is by case inspection and bullet grouping. If anyone has some info on this setup for powder/bullet combo I could really use some help. Thank you
