    There is a hidden agenda somewhere. This is their basis for wanting to remove the G36 from service lol

    The G36, Berlin says, does not shoot straight in hot weather or when it heats up through constant firing.

    When a country or criminal group uses HK firearms to of commit acts of evil, it is not the fault of HK. Evil men will always have tools no matter what. It does not matter where the guns came from. When LE takes down a bad guy the media does not give any credit to the gun company.

    I'm sure HK isn't weeping too much, the article I read ( can't remember where, HKusa.com?), said the Bundeswehr will transition from the G36 to the HK416. Though all these stories do seem to fit the profile of a calculated smear campaign by the German media.

    As far as taking the "moral high ground" goes, I do not possibly see how the German government can do that here. There is a big difference between selling a legal product and taking over Europe.
