" Hoverboard " fires !

We've seen them on the internet . Most people ignore the possibility and keep the damn things in their house .
Yesterday my son's neighbor across the street had one burst into flames in her garage , It was not plugged into the charger either . She was in the house and smelled smoke . Thank God she was home . She yelled across the street to my son and he ran over and pulled it out of the garage . Fire Dept showed up and finished it off and dealt with the smoke .

Holly crap! I'm glad no one was hurt. Those things are such junk, and a fire hazard to boot.

Even without the possibility of bursting into flames, it seems like a good way to do a face plant. No way would I stay upright, if I stepped on one of those things. Murphy and his cruel laws would make sure pain was involved.
