    Chevy, I had an old .22 that was like that. I put a piece of business card under the front of the stock to add a little upward pressure and the shifting groups and heat dispersal stopped.

    actually i have a peice of aluminum under the barrel to keep it from moving it works pretty good but still after a few ounds it looses acuracy alot.
