The best way to figure that out would be consulting some ballistic charts for your load. I want the best trajectory for the distances I will most commonly be shooting.
A 50 yard zero is pretty easy to come by and works well
Personally, I own an Aimpoint, but it's the same concept. That being said, I have my backups set at 200 and my M68 set at 50. If I need to make a long shot, I look into the lower 1/3 of the scope for my cowitness and I can hit out to 200 immediately. The dot takes car of 1-100 meters.
