A buddy of mine owns a 700 yard range up in Tn.

I understand there is a 1,000 yard range just north of McComb Ms...

I got it less to shoot, and more because 'They' don't want me to have it.

After I shoot out to 2,000 meters in Feb for training I'll be content to shoot it every so often just to maintain the skills.

Thats cool, I was always afraid of getting something like that and not being able to shoot it.

i've had my gun for about 3-4 months now. i'd say about 800 rounds so far.

At least 2-3k through my Auto Ordinance M1911A1, and rather a lot more through my WASR-10. Never really kept any sort of log on that sort of thing, though.

140K+ through a Clark 1911 .45 I bought new in 1980 (Colt slide on a Essex frame)before the dust cover cracked and the slide stop hole was getting loose. Replaced the frame and put another 10k through it. Ain't shot it in while but I still have it.

I have a Gen II Glock 19 with 150K plus through it. I have replaced springs twice and thats it. I only clean it about every other year.
