I need my blades shortened ¼" in S'port

Is there someone who can shorten my SOG Twitch II and Leatherman Blast blades to just under 2½"? It will only require grinding 1/8 to ¼ off of the tips and then resharpening the new tips. I need to remain legal and am constantly in places where this could be a real issue for me.

Any suggestions folks?

VA Property specifies 2½" maximum. I went through a very thorough discussion over this and having a gun in the car on VA property and we finally found the appropriate documents/rules prohibiting each. Both knifes ate listed as having blades ranging from 2½ to 2.66 in length. It is a chance I simply will not take and ¼" off the tip isn't going to render my blades useless. These are working blades. Not collector knifes etc..
