    and a good .22 for killin bunnies. In my case, probably the Remington 597. Dead nuts accurate and hasn't failed me so far. Nothin' makes SHTF tolerable like a good rabbit jambalaya. :D

    Unless Hillary or Obama say I can only have three rifles, I am going to own as many as I like.
    I cannot see limiting myself to just three when there are so many great rifles I have yet to own.
    My first three favorites are;
    1944 Valmet SOV sniper in 7.62X54R
    1943 M1 Garand in 30.06
    1969 Hakim in 8mm
    With these three, I can put power where I want it when I can see straight.

    That is one of the great things about the gun laws in this country. I can own several of every gun I want. I feel pretty privileged to live where the gun laws are as lax as they are.

    South of Baton Rouge.
    Savage or Sako bolt action in .338
    Piston driven .308 P308 18 inch barrel.
    Remington 870 express Marine. I know that's not a rifle but really, how much more can you truly pack? And a huge variety of types of rounds.

    I'll be different:
    Steyr Scout in .308 (I started to put an Enfield jungle carbine here... tough choice... I'd settle for the Ruger Scout though)
    Nesika Tactical in .308
    ultra light AR (the RJ Katana maybe)

    Both with Specter DR's, Mini-Scouts, IR Otals, MBUS, and handstops setup the exact same.

    Savage 10" .22LR Bolt Action

    And before someone says that DD doesnt make a 10.5" V7, a DD 10.5" barreled gun, a MFR Handrail, and this:
