Yep... Government gotta get their cut of every penny somehowIsnt it like $110/yr ?
I'm not sure how it works but my dad bought an electric car and he was not eligible for the tax credit or whatever it is. Idk if it has anything to do with his income.Make them pay their way. Next take the tax subsidies from State & Fed.
The Federal EV Tax Credit only applies to a manufacturer’s first 200k EV sales. GM and Tesla hit that mark a long time ago. Ford will hit 200k EV sales by 2023.I'm not sure how it works but my dad bought an electric car and he was not eligible for the tax credit or whatever it is. Idk if it has anything to do with his income.

Mine does 0-60 same time regardless of battery remaining. Aggressive acceleration indeed draws more energy, but you’ll still get a couple hundred miles or more out of any fully charged (90%) late model Tesla regardless of how you drive it.“Y’all could talk about me all you want to. 0-60 in 1.99 seconds.”
That is very impressive. I’m sure that’s Tesla’s #s on a full charge. I’d like to know the #s on a half or quarter charge.
Big Daddy ran an electric Dragster for a little while. He had to change batteries every pass.
Formula E was worse. Run a road race while managing battery power then at 1/2 way, pit & Change Cars! I’d have like to see a battery change. View attachment 121588
LMAO!Bernie Sanders did the same thing in his home state. Set up big subsidies for people to go green and not suck fossil fuel. They sold so many EV that year and he was proud to gloat that they were doing their part to save the planet. The unintended consequence was that they lost 350 million in gasoline tax the next year for road maintenance. This sent them into a tissy and proposed a mileage tax on EV for every mile driven a year.
Needless to say, about a dozen of the elected parasites got unelected the next year.

The Plaid model is able to pull just as hard even with a much lower state of charge. Its the only one.Mine does 0-60 same time regardless of battery remaining.
