Funny you should say that. I like the idea. Michelle Malkin had an interesting op-ed piece a couple of days ago about how much of this mortgage crisis is a result of home loans to ILLEGAL aliens. As many as 70% of the foreclosures in some larger cities are from these types of loans. I wonder what the justification is for bailing out the institutions that allowed loans like that is?

I lived in Arizona for 6 years. Their political buildings are being filled with the same people who cross the border. Here is what will happen to this poor man(BP agent):

He will lose his job.
He will be arrested and sentenced to prison.
All of his assets will be confiscated and given to the Tonk.

Grant me immunity and I'll be glad to guard the border at my expense even. I have a ton of friends in Az of Mexican decent who's families went through the immigration process that feel the same way.

This is harsh,and impractical, but it would be a deterrent. The border could be a ground support firing range for the the military, no mines, just explosives, and puff the dragon.
