Due to recent incidents at my place of employment at least two of my fellow coworkers have begun wearing Bullet resistant vests under their Security uniform shirts.
I was given a secondhand Second Chance vest way back in 1993 when I POST certified/commissioned and rode along with HPD. I still have that vest which is about 20 years old now. I mentioned it to a coworker and the reply was, "It's better than nothing."
True but I'd like something a bit newer. Sadly, Security guards aren't known for being highly paid. SO I was just thinking, "huummm, I wonder if any of the gang over at BS has a spare vest taking up space in the closet that they wouldn't mind parting with to keep me from being fatially perferated."
So there it is. I have my hand out and am begging for Kevlar.
If you can donate please PM me.
