I think we definitely need to something. I'm not for shooting anyone or jailing them indefinitely but I think we could put a conscription program into place and let them earn their right to be here. If we can let homos in the military, why not Mexicans? If they were willing to learn English, swear them in, teach them our language and send them to the sandbox.

I'd like to see some of that stimulus money spent on immigration. Just think of the jobs that would be created by building the wall, forming the posse, patrolling the wall. Not to mention the fines reaped from offenders employing or harboring illegals. Then you get the bonus of getting people off welfare to work the fields and construction. Sounds win win to me.

Stop and think for a minute from now on. Aside from Geardo and a few others, no person suggests that we adopt these methods of border control. The point is that these countries that no one should ever want to emigrate to have immigration controls. We have little to NONE.

What's wrong with locking people up for breaking the law? Cross the border illegally and you should 1) be sent to prison for 6 months to "do jobs Americans don't want to do" (aka Hard Labor in a chain gang) then 2) be deported then 3) if you return, your sentence becomes 4 years.

We'd solve the immigration problem and/or have a nice labor force.
