Info on .308 Kimber Rifle

I have a Kimber rifle that I traded for some time ago and wanted to see if anyone knows anything about these. It is marked:

Kimber of America Inc. Clackamas OR. M96 Sweden-Sporterized USA

Ihave pictures, but can't load them here. It is stainless in a synthetic stock with what seems to be a heavy fluted barrel.
