    So, finals are ending Saturday for me and I didn't really get to workout much this year and I am starting a new workout plan on Monday. I would to like to see if anyone has any thoughts or would tweak anything in it. My setup is similar to workouts I have done in the past that have worked for me, but this one is a little more hard core on cardio than the past ones. So, here it is:

    I will follow the Insanity normal calendar and have a second workout later in the day. The second workout will be a P90X workout as follows:

    Saturday: Shoulders and Arms (heavy weights on arms)
    Sunday: X Stretch
    Monday: Cardio Abs (and maybe ab-ripper)
    Tuesday: Back and Biceps
    Wednesday: Chest Shoulders Triceps
    Thursday: Cardio Abs
    Friday: Chest & Back & NO INSANITY!

    Thoughts anyone?

    You completely forgot weight resistance for legs. It'll keep the metabolism rolling for 2-3 days after and release large amounts of locked up testosterone.

    Try 3 sets of 12 alternating Bulgarian split squats, dead lifts, and front squats, no breaks in between each workout and 30-60 secs between each set.

    Have you tried Insanity before...? It's all legs lol. I find that my legs hurt way more after an Insanity workout than after a full lower body workout.

    only thing i'd chime in is diet. know your bmr, figure your caloric surplus/deficit depending on goals and get a plan.

    A fitness program without a meal plan is a ferrari with no keys.

    whether you train for cosmetics or performance, its 85% diet.


    Grats for getting back into training man. stick to it.
