High Quality is relative. Are we talking about DPMS quality? POF-USA? Spikes?

I have a POF-USA that I'd let go. It's only been fired once, about 30 rounds. I'd be looking for 1625 for it. $1700 with the diamondhead flip ups and Silencerco Flash Hider.

From an article I read today, I probably want the 5.45x39. The writer claims it handles both the 5.45x39 & 233 ammo better than the 233.

I highly recommend that you go to Interstate Guns and talk to the guys there before making a decision. You will walk out of there with a ton of knowledge and possibly a great gun should you choose to.

If you shoot 223 out of a 5.45 gun you're going to really **** something up. 5.56x45 is what you're looking for. Scooterj's gun is a comp gun, not at all what I think you need. A POF is a heavy ass piston driven gun. Again, not a good idea. If you're already in mandeville go to interstate guns. If it is within your price range get the DDm4v11 LW after letting them tell you why it's awesome.
