looks like they're already hitting gunbroker for ~$350 + shipping. not too bad I guess for what it is and that it comes with what is probably a $50 case.
Brought the takedown to the range today.
Quick cleaning to avoid leading then 100 rds through it (4 25 rd Ruger mags).
Some rapid fire, some slow aimed fire.
Perfect function- just like a standard 10/22.
I actually couldn't feel the difference between this firearm and a regular version.
Some friends fired more out of it as well.
Same story with no complaints.
Ruger has a home run in this one- finally they're really ahead of the curve.
My impression was that the barrel just screws in so I don't see why that would affect it unless you take off an added sight or adjust the fixed in some way..
