Just bought 7.62x39 for 2.99

I find it funny they manufacture .223 to look like 7.62 in the same blue boxes.

No I'm in TX. I had all the large half case boxes to myself. I left a case or two (individual boxes) on the shelves.

At 5:30PM, shelf was bare, but my keen eyes spotted a few cases in the aisle, by the shotgun shells. To no avail, of course, as they rang up at the regular price.

I'm thinking this sale ended Saturday night, and they didn't reprogram the registers until sometime Sunday.

Sigh...

Again, according to the fellow at the gun counter who checked the price for me, Academy's sales run from Sundays through the following Saturdays.

I was just pointing out the obvious if you were a WOLF in this manner. I used that example last night, over beer with Manimal, how it takes a wolf to catch a wolf, but that wolf is really a sheepdog in disguise.

I just picked some up at the Lafayette store. The rumor is that the sale will be on until Dec 25, and that they have 6000 cases at the corporate warehouse.
