I received my order of 36# of BR-5 powder a couple of days ago and worked up a load today with Precision Delta 124 JHP's. Started at 4.4gr ended at 5.6 gr. Best 10 shot group at 25 yds from my ransom rest through my CZ TSO was 1.09" 5.4 gr BR-5, 1.100" OAL CCI primers and Winchester once fired brass. Power factor 138. 5.0 gr yielded 132 PF and grouped 1.76". I will work up loads for 124 FMJ, 147 FMJ and Coated, 135 coated and some 119 GAT bullets next week and will try and tweak the 5.4 gr load by decreasing OAL to 1.090 and 1.080 for the 124 JHP. Will also be testing .40 and .45 with this powder. Powder came from gibrass.com in 6# jugs.
