Just Submitted Concealed Carry Application

So I just submitted my concealed carry application to the LSP on the 18th. Lady at the counter says to expect up to 120 days to process. Thanks to Alan at Geaux Shootin for the class. Learned some new stuff about hand positioning and target acquisition.

FYI - The LSP will take your fingerprints on site but you'll need a $10 money order. It doesn't say anything about that anywhere in the paperwork from LSP, luckily I arrived there with enough time to go to a nearby convenience store for the money order.

Never had one of those.

But I didn't turn in my 4th renewal for my Concealed Handgun Permit app on Dec. 26 and got it back on Jan 15.

I should be fine. I originally had a permit back in 2001 but let it lapse because I seldom went anywhere that I deemed it nessasary to CC. But that was back before I had any sense, I'm not gonna let it go this time. Not as long as I'm still drawing breath.
