So I was out shooting my kahr cm9 with trijicon night sights and the front sight ended up popping off and unfortunately I was not able to find it, when I was at home trying to remove the screw so I couldn't replace the sight I noticed there appears to be red threadlock on the screw, how can I remove the screw without having to heat the slide up to remove the threadlock

With the correct size screwdriver securely in the in the screw tap he screw lightly several times---then TIGHTEN the screw ever so lightly
and the LOOSEN the screw lightly--do this back and forth lightly until screw loosens---so far this has worked every time for me. Good luck.

That works some of the time but a match on Red Loctite works 100% of the time.
