Bought a Kahr P380 a while back, as a pocket pistol. Put 100 rounds through it, and noticed the ejector was damaged. Kahr sent me a new pistol, on my dime shipping and FFL, but...

The old gun's frame cracked, causing the problem.

So, I am going to the range Sunday, break the little gun down. to give it a quick clean and lube.

Lots of damage to the polymer frame. Score marks parallel to the barrel, just seems to be beating the poly frame up. I have owned Glocks, never seen this, have M&P handguns, never seen this. I get this damage from just doing some dry work, I have not shot it, supposedly Kahr put 26 rounds downrange.

Shut up, shoot it and go on, or is there a problem?

I would run several hundred rounds through it clean, lube and inspect it real well. I never had any issues with the polymer framed 9mm Kahr pistols.

OK, I shot the gun today. Put about 50 rounds through it, no issues, pretty accurate for what it is. The wear had not gotten worse, looks much smoother, so looks like just a little 'break in'. I will contact Kahr and ask about it. Feel much better about the gun now. :)

I might be overly picky when I get a replacement gun because the original failed. But Kahr did replace the original gun with no issues, and pretty fast. Even gave me an extra mag in the box.
